And then, it was Autumn.

We went for a walk by the river the other night, the air was cool and there a was a stiff breeze blowing. The cottonwood leaves were singing.

All too soon it feels like Autumn and my thoughts turn to family gatherings, Gravy and mashed potatoes and warm drinks served in handmade pottery mugs.

I want to stretch this summer out but reality calls and so do the chickadees….
