Sometimes life takes courage

I am a bouncer, I can’t stay down for long, I will come flying right back up. I am not sure who taught me that. If I had to choose I would say my Dad. He always had love to give and jokes to tell.

I am reading a book this week about choosing joy. Let’s do it. Let’s choose joy. When saying goodbye to loved ones, remember the joy they brought you. When your body aches and doesn’t move as easily as it used to, remember the miles and adventures it has been on. When your sandwich comes on rye instead of…who am I kidding I would have to send it back, realizing what a first world problem that is. So maybe I would find joy in the fact that if that is my biggest problem my life is pretty sweet.

Peace, love, and hope.
